Korey Adams is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Distinction, LLC, a Mississippi-based management and consulting firm he founded in 2017. With over 25 years of experience in executive leadership, workforce development, and economic and community revitalization, he has established himself as a transformative strategist in sectors that serve historically under-resourced populations.
Korey’s professional trajectory began in 1999 with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, where he advanced through progressively senior roles, culminating in pivotal leadership positions such as Center Director, Capture Manager, and General Manager for both a large enterprise and Alaskan Native Corporations. Throughout his career, he has successfully executed high-impact organizational transformations that resulted in demonstrable improvements in operational performance, program efficacy, and stakeholder engagement. His leadership has been instrumental in structuring sustainable workforce and educational pipelines that equip America’s youth with the requisite skills for long-term economic mobility.
Korey’s work has taken him across the United States, allowing him to implement large-scale workforce and community development initiatives in Little Rock, Arkansas; Joliet, Illinois; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Albany, New York; and North Central Massachusetts, among other regions. His experience in these diverse economic and demographic landscapes has given him a unique perspective on national workforce trends, federal program implementation, and regional economic disparities, enabling him to tailor solutions that drive measurable success in both urban and rural settings.
As an advocate for inclusive economic growth and strategic workforce solutions within federal contracting, Korey has positioned Distinction, LLC as a competitive entity in the procurement space. Under his stewardship, the firm has secured both prime and subcontracting awards, attaining 8(a) certification in 2023 and HUBZone certification in 2020 from the U.S. Small Business Administration. His strategic focus extends beyond business development to fostering equitable access to economic opportunities. This commitment led him to complete the Urban Land Institute’s Real Estate Development - Memphis 2024 Cohort, deepening his expertise in urban transformation and sustainable community investment.
Rooted in Mississippi, Korey has long been engaged in community development initiatives, particularly in Greenville, where his faith-based and civic leadership efforts have supported economic and social empowerment for historically marginalized groups. In recent years, he has expanded his regional engagement, fostering relationships with business and civic leaders in Memphis and beyond to advance workforce development and economic revitalization. His ongoing focus includes leveraging his expertise to drive impactful partnerships that create lasting economic mobility.
Academically, Korey holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Jackson State University. He is deeply committed to service, mentorship, and economic empowerment, reflected in his active membership in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and his continued efforts to advance workforce development, business innovation, and inclusive economic growth.
Redford Salmon has more than 26 years of experience in the Education and Training industry, most notably as a corporate leader for the Department of Labor's Job Corps program. Redford's passion for educating and empowering youth led him to be the senior staff at four of the country's most challenging Job Corps centers in the country.
Redford's knowledge and management abilities have transformed Job Corps centers into ideal learning environments that reach performance outcomes. He has led large teams of staff and managed federal contracts valued over $100 million. Throughout his career, Redford has established innovative teams and solutions resulting in client benefit. His leadership has resulted in statistical performance improvements, safe environments, and effective resource utilization.
Redford served valiantly for 6 years as a member of the Army Reserves, reaching the rank of Specialist. He used his military experience and business acumen in the security, hospitality, and transportation industries, which require acute management skills and coordination of complex operations involving people, facilities, and supplies.
Redford hails the belief in life-long learning and he is currently pursuing graduate level education in Organizational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University. He possesses a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Fitchburg State University.
Redford is happily married to Karla and he is the father of three wonderful children, Jayda, Greyson, and Raeyna.
Tiffany Campbell, Distinction's Vice President of Human Resources and Business Development, carries dual responsibilities. She is a 27-year business and training professional, having started her career as an educational instructor. She quickly demonstrated her ability to take on increased levels of responsibility, having served as a mid-level manager, department director, and organizational leader, all requiring vast technical, decision-making, proposal writing, and analytical skills.
Tiffany has held leadership roles in the Department of Labor's Job Corps program and the Michigan Department of Treasury. Throughout her state employment, she was the driving force for staff training and development, ensuring all staff and leadership personnel were fully equipped to exceed performance expectations.
In her Distinction leadership role, she is responsible for establishing the company's personnel policies and coordinating business and proposal development activities. Tiffany is a graduate of St. Xavier University with a Bachelor's in Math and she possesses a Masters of Education from American Intercontinental University.
Tiffany is happily married to her husband Edward and they are blessed to have a blended family of 11 children. In her leisure, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and working in her local church.
Florence James is a 45-year veteran of the Department of Labor's Job Corps program. Florence began her career in the early 1980's and she worked primarily for federal contractors throughout her career. She served a short stint as a Program Manager in the Philadelphia Region of Job Corps.
Florence is best known as a corporate "guru" for her work in residential program management, student behavior management, and other student-focused activities. She has worked with at-risk youth from diverse backgrounds and creates engaging residential, recreation, and student leadership programs aimed to increase student participation and retention. She is a certified professional trainer and teaches organizational leaders the techniques and skills to professionally develop staff.
Throughout Florence's career she has been trusted to serve as Acting Center Director at 15 Job Corps centers across the country. She is the proud alumni of Bowie State University where she received the Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Psychology.
Florence is known for her lively personality and business savvy. In her spare time, she enjoys fine dining experiences, spending time with friends and family, and cheering for the NFL team in Washington, D.C.
